One of the pillars of using nutritional therapy to support you in your healing journey will be to take a bio-individual approach to your health because you are SO unique. That means everything I recommend or say will be individual to you and your body and your nutritional needs. So no more googling symptoms and applying whatever the first article that comes up as a bandaid to your symptoms. We will dig into what is ACTUALLY going on in your body and target any dysfunction and potential nutrient deficiencies with real, whole foods, lifestyle changes and some targeted supplementation if necessary. You will be amazed at the changes! We will take a deep dive into your health by assessing your digestion, blood sugar regulation, fat absorption, hydration, and mineral balance. I then build an individualized plan just for you giving you weekly support through the process. No more guessing or left on island to fend for yourself. I will always keep in mind honoring your physiology, your current lifestyle and stress load, as well as your preferences and goals for your health!
After you've contacted me I will send you your initial intake interview form as well as a nutritional assessment questionnaire. This is roughly 300 questions of your signs and symptoms, so take your time and always answer thoroughly and honestly. You will be asked to complete a non-negotiable five day food and mood journal. This allows me some insight into your day-to-day digestion, blood sugar and overall macro intake. I will analyze all the data and we will book the following week a seventy-five minute call to go over the results as well as a plan of action. From there we will discuss what accountability looks like for you, 8 and 12 week options available. Your unique needs and goals will set our pace. This is a slow, incremental lifestyle, habit building process that takes upwards to 6months sometimes. I have found HTMA to be helpful data at the 6-12week timeframe if progress is stalling, however, it can be implemented anywhere within our process and always yields great personal insight to YOU and your needs.
